SECTION 1: ABOUT LITTLE BABY GRAINS
- 1. How different are the grains sold by Little Baby Grains and the rice that we eat?
Little Baby Grains uses organic and natural grains with a softer texture and higher nutritional value than the average everyday grains. Our rice is specially selected in terms of quality and suitability for our little ones' delicate tummies. For instance, the premium, natural white rice which is used in all of Little Baby Grains' products has 1.5 times the amount of Vitamin B compared to average white rice. 2. What are the benefits of the products sold by Little Baby Grains?
Each of the products sold by Little Baby Grains have their respective nutritional benefits for your babies and toddlers. Both the white and red rice are good sources of protein. Millet is a wholegrain which also reduces the risk of Type 2 Diabetes. Quinoa is labelled as a superfood because it is a good source of protein, dietary fibre, polyunsaturated fat and minerals. Additionally, our products are segregated by age. Please take care to follow the recommended age group as younger babies may not be able to tolerate certain wholegrains which are harder.
3. Why should I choose Little Baby Grains?
The grains that we use are specially selected. Compared with other brands, we only use premium grains which are more nutritious and softer. Additionally, all our grains are grouped by age in accordance with baby's needs.

SECTION 2: PRODUCT INFORMATION
1. Where are the products from?
The grains are sourced both locally and overseas, from Malaysia, PRC and Bolivia. The country of origin is also stated on the packaging.
2. Does Little Baby Grains have organic certificates?
Our organic certifications are owned by our importer. We are happy to share them with you upon request
3. Does it mean that I can feed my baby these products without the need to add vegetables or meat?
No, it is important to consume the grains as PART of a balanced diet in order to obtain good overall nutrition. This means that a good diet of vegetables and protein is necessary in addition to our products.
4. My baby is 1 year old and I noticed that there are many choices. Which should I choose?

5. I heard that quinoa is highly nutritious. Why can't I give it to my baby before he is 1 year old?
Quinoa is also called a superfood because it is a good source of many nutrients, including quality protein, dietary fibre, polyunsaturated fats and minerals. Little Baby Grains however recommends serving quinoa to babies above 1 year old, as younger babies may find it difficult to digest quinoa.
6. Can my family eat the same grains as my 1-year-old?
Yes! Since the grains are generally more nutritious than our everyday white rice, it is certainly beneficial for your family to eat the same grains as your 1-year-old toddler. The combination of wholegrains is definitely a healthier choice than plain white rice.
7. Are there cooking instructions?
Yes! Every pack of grains comes with a recipe, which also has cooking instructions including the amount of water to use and the cooking duration. If you purchase the Starter Kits, each Kit comes with an additional 8 recipe cards. These recipes are different from the recipes in the individual packs.
8. How can I cook the grains?
Our grains can be cooked on a stovetop, in a slow cooker, rice cooker, or in any baby food cookers, such as Beaba Babycook, etc.
9. How much water should I put in?
For 1 spoonful of the grains, add 3-4 spoons full of water into the pot to make rice. Add 1-2 more spoons full to make porridge instead.
For grains that are high in fibre (such as red rice and quinoa), you can soak the grains for 15-30 minutes in water before cooking them. This will speed up the cooking time.
10. Do I need to soak the rice before cooking?
Soaking is not necessary, however, if you cooking the grains as rice instead of porridge, soaking is recommended to speed up the cooking process especially for Step 4 Nutri-Colour and Step 5 Q-Junior.
11. Do I need to blend or puree the grains before giving it to my baby?
Pureeing is recommended for ages 6-9 months. For 9 months and above, the grains are generally soft enough without the additional need for blending or milling. However, parents are advised to observe their babies' own development pace as some babies may require more assistance in chewing their solids. In such cases, it is recommended to puree the cooked grains together with their baby's vegetables, fruits or meat.
12. Can I puree the grains along with my baby's vegetables and meat, then freeze it for the week?
Generally, freezing rice porridge is not recommended due to concerns on colic (wind). You can instead freeze the puréed vegetables and meat but cook the rice porridge on a daily basis. The frozen puree can then be added to the rice porridge.
13. I'm a busy parent so I don't have time to cook my baby's porridge before I leave for work. What should I do?
You can cook your baby's porridge in a slow cooker before going to bed the night before. Simply set the slow cooker mode to "Low" heat and let it cook overnight.
14. How long can I keep the grains for?
The expiry date is written on our rice packs, however, as a general rule of thumb, you can keep the grains for up to 12 months in the refrigerator.
15. Do I need to keep my unopened grains in the fridge?
Yes, all grains both opened or unopened should be stored in the refrigerator to preserve freshness and prevent contamination by bugs.

1. How do I purchase the grains?

2. I have ordered from this website. How do I make payment?
You should receive an email from email@example.com with the order summary and payment instructions. Please check your Spam / Junk folder if you don't see the e-mail. Once you have made payment, please e-mail us your proof of payment and your order number.
3. I have made payment. What's next?
Once you have made payment, please e-mail us your proof of payment and your order number. Our team will process your order within the next working day and you will receive an SMS with the tracking number. If you don't receive an SMS within 24 hours, kindly drop us an email or contact us via our social media channels and we will follow up on your order immediately.
4. Can I pay by cash on delivery (COD)?
Unfortunately, we do not offer this at the moment. Please proceed by paying through bank transfer. Our bank details are:

5. When will my order be shipped?
Your order will be shipped out on the same day if payment is made by 11am. Otherwise, we will ship out your order within the next working day. Your tracking number will be sent to you via SMS once your order is shipped.
6. When will I receive my order?
Standard delivery time takes 1-3 days for local or international orders. Same day delivery is available for orders sent to Klang Valley addresses only. To request for same day delivery, please contact us via our social media platforms or drop us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org
7. I need my grains urgently. What can I do?
If your location is within Klang Valley, we can engage a third-party runner service to send the grains to you on the same day as your order. The cost of this option starts from RM10 and may be more depending on the distance the runner has to travel. Please reach out to us via DM on our Facebook or Instagram.
8. Can I pick my order up from your office?
We are so sorry! At the moment, we are unable to cater for self pick-up option.
